New wedding season ahead and as a wedding planner I get a lot questions from my brides on how to look absolutely perfect and natural on their wedding day. Therefore, I asked awarded bridal beauty expert in Greece, Fratzeska Koukoula, to share her secrets about 2021 bridal make up trends!

Vibrant skin
The show stopper on your wedding day will be your natural healthy looking luminous skin. The primary face cosmetics will be nude shades, illuminators, blushes, lip gloss and subtle contouring. Artists call it dolphin skin and it has become a huge trend. Imagine something like “coming out of the pool” as makeup artist Mary Philips would describe it. Sun kissed and slippery!
Blurred eyeliner
Take the classic trend and mix it up a bit to create an imperfect wing. The latest makeup trend is officially blurred liner. The trend will emphasize the brides feminity and grace by making the eyes more expressive.
Smokey eyes
Smoked eyes will always be in the first line of bridal makeup trends. Therefore, this year it is out with the dark and in with the light. Nudes browns, beige, rose are needed to achieve a luminous look. More satin and shine less matte.
Very glossy lips
It’s been seen in the past. However, in 2021 this trend opts for a more healthy looking hydrated effect on the lips. For a more colorful touch we can go for a few strokes of shine with a coral, magenta, or pastel pink lipstick.
